Indisputable fallacy of the Code 19 by Rashad Khalifah

Salam,

Below is a list of contradictions of the Code 19 of Rashad Khalifah against the Quran.

Firstly, his claim the Code 19 is the protector of the Quran based on the Surah 74:30 that stated “Over it (alaiha) are nineteen” is a fallacy.

In the above verse, 19 cannot be over the Quran or the Kitab because “ha” is Arabic feminine while Quran or Kitab carry the masculine “he” and thus “over it” must be over the fire as fire is feminine as shown in the verse after it at Surah 74:31 and as such the number 19 as stated is the number of guardian angels over the fire. To confirm with another example in the Quran where fire is a feminine word is shown in the following verse:

O ye who believe! Save yourselves and your families from a fire whose fuel is men and stones, over which (alaiha) are angels stern (and) severe, who flinch not from executing the Commands they receive from Allah, but do (precisely) what they are commanded.(Surah 66:6)

Secondly he claimed that compassionate and merciful cannot be ascribed to man it is solely the attributes of God. Thus he claimed Surah 9:128&129 is a falsehood by applying his Code 19 calculation.

However there is nothing faulty in the Surah 9:128 a messenger described being compassionate and merciful is defined in the Quran but for God He is described with the Arabic word “Al” or “The” which transverse beyond limit as God is The Most Compassionate and The Most Merciful. He set Muhammad as the example of a messenger as a man being merciful while Abraham is described as being a messenger of being forbearing at Surah 11:75 but God is The Most Forbearing.

Thirdly Rashad Khalifah claimed he is the rightful messenger stated in the Surah 3:81 as messenger of the Covenant.

Behold! Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying: "I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you a messenger, confirming what is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help." Allah said: "Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said: "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses." (Surah 3:81)

It is impossible to justify his claim as the messenger of the covenant in the above verse. The true or rightful Messenger stated above came to the prophets and it is the prophets who were to render their help to that messenger. However there is no prophet to render his help during the time of Rashad Khalifah as Muhammad is the sealed of the Prophets as stated in Surah 33:40 “Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.” The last Prophet therefore was not present to render Rashad Khalifah in believing in him nor did he able to render his help.

For a messenger to be at the covenant of the Prophets and to live at each one of the prophet’s life time on earth to render his help, he must surely be more than a man and this requirement meets the characteristic of the angel Gabriel as he is a messenger of God and he confirmed the revelations given to all the prophets including Muhammad:

Say: Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel for he brings down the (revelation) to thy heart by Allah's will, a confirmation of what went before, and guidance and glad tidings for those who believe, (Surah 2:97).

Fourthly Rashad claimed that the two verses at Surah 9:128-129 are falsehood by the mere reason there is no protection or written on the top of Surah 9  “In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful” compared to all other chapters of the Quran which begins with it.

He claimed that since the Surah 9 is without the heading “In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most merciful” and the total number of word “rahim” or “merciful” in the Quran together with the one at  Surah 9:128 which is ascribed to Muhammad obstruct his calculation to get a round figure when divided by the number 19. He defined the word there as polluting the whole verse. The other verse 9:129 did not fit his calculation because with the word “Allah” the total number is not divisible by 19.

He concluded that the two verses were therefore polluted and being falsehood which is being injected by the Devil. He then disposed the verse with the word “merciful” at Surah 9:128 and together with the verse 9:129 thinking he has corrected the Quran by making the total number of the word “merciful” and “Allah” divisible by the number 19 and getting a result of a round figure.

However the irony of his attempt by applying his Code 19 is not workable. He failed to install “In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful” on top of his Surah 9. The status Quo remains,  it is the same situation as any other Surah 9 of any Quran in the world there is no “In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful” on it. It is God Who wants it to be a blank over this Surah or Chapter 9
as it is His system to preserve His Quran in His way to prevent character like Rashad Khalifah to meddle with God’s Quran. Had he (Rashad) put the wordings on top of the Surah 9 “In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful” he will be back to square one; he will have an additional words “merciful” and “Allah” which will obstruct again his divisible 19 code to get to a round figure result.
The reference of his Quran which is still without “In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful” can be assessed by visiting the following site:

How does God protect His Quran

The inspired message in its reading is memorized and the book is completed during the Prophet’s time and it has been the same until now. The message in the form of memorized reading and in the form of a book will still continue till the Day of Judgment. This is stated in the Quran:

Therefore let whoso will, keep it in remembrance (It is) in Books held (greatly) in honor, Exalted (in dignity), kept pure and holy (Written) by the hands of scribes-Honorable and Pious and Just. (Surah 80:12-16)

By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, except as Allah wills: For He know what is manifest and what is hidden. (Surah 87:6-7)

That We might make it a Message unto you, and that ears (that should hear the tale and) retain its memory should bear its in remembrance.
(Surah 69:12)

Allah has revealed the most beautiful Message in the form of a Book, consistent with itself. (Surah 39:23)

(It is) a Qur'an in Arabic, without any crookedness (therein): in order that they may guard against evil. (Surah 39:28)

So the Quran in its memorized reading and in the form of a book has been retained and synchronized over generations and never change since the time of the Prophet and this will prevail till the Day of Judgment and this is how Allah protects His message. And as such the verse Surah 74:30 the number 19 is not an evident that it is the protector of the Quran or the Book.

Rashad Khalifah is not a messenger of God because he plagiarized the Quran that was given to Muhammad then manipulated it by dumping two verses of the Surah 9:128&129. His code 19 has no basis as the Arabic is clearly saying that the number 19 in the Surah 74:30 is the number of guardian angels over the fire and not the protector of the Quran as he claimed. Similarly the number eight at Surah 69:17 is also the number of angels is not a symbol to be used to protect the Quran either. God do not protect His book by numbers but by human being keeping the message in the form of a book and memorized reading intact from the time of Muhammad till the Day of Judgment. Rashad or anybody can erase the two verses or any verse from the Book but this will be exposed by the memorized agents of God guarding the Quran generation after generation. This is what it means when He said He will protect His message and it will be protected from the time of Muhammad till the Day of Judgment and He said:

We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption). (Surah 15:9)

Some of his followers claimed that the Code 19 at Surah 74:31 can remove doubts of the Christians and Jews and increase in faith of believers and it is a miracle in the number 19 itself.

The Quran Surah 74:30-31

Over it are nineteen. And We have set none but angels as Guardians of the Fire; and We have fixed their number only as a trial for Unbelievers, in order that the People of the Book may arrive at certainty, and the Believers may increase in Faith, and that no doubts may be left for the People of the Book and the Believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the Unbelievers may say, "What symbol doth Allah intend by this?" Thus doth Allah leave to stray whom He pleases and guide whom He pleases: and none can know the forces of thy Lord, except He and this is no other than a warning to mankind.
(Surah 74:30-31)

In the above verse, 19 cannot be over the Quran or the Kitab because “ha” is Arabic feminine and thus “over it” must be over the fire and 19 angels as stated as the guardian over the fire and fire is feminine and will not be contradicting with the Arabic masculine kitab or Quran. And God fixed the number of angels not only in the above verse but in many other verses of the Quran and this is as a trial to disbelieve or increased in belief as stated in the following examples:

Remember thou said to the Faithful: "Is it not enough for you that Allah should help you with three thousand angels sent down?  "Yea, if ye remain firm, and act aright, even if the enemy should rush here on you in hot haste, your Lord would help you with five thousand angels making a terrific onslaught. Allah made it but a message of hope for you, and an assurance to your hearts: (in any case) there is no help except from Allah. The Exalted, the Wise. (Surah 3:125-126)

Remember ye implored the assistance of your Lord, and He answered you: "I will assist you with a thousand of the angels, ranks on ranks." Allah made it but a message of hope, and an assurance to your hearts: (in any case) there is no help except from Allah: and Allah is exalted in Power, Wise. (Surah 8:9-10)
And the sky will be rent asunder, for it will that Day be flimsy, and the angels will be on its sides, and eight will, that Day, bear the Throne of thy Lord above them. That Day shall ye be brought to Judgment: not an act of yours that ye hide will be hidden. (Surah 69:16-18)

It can be seen that God quoted the number “Over it are nineteen” and number is as a mighty sign but Rashad Khalifah with deceit took it as his code nineteen protector of the Quran by dumping two holy verses from the Quran. However others can take it as number of angels in guardian over the fire and number of angels God can send to help believers whether they are people of the book or the Muslims to lift their assurance of their belief. It has nothing to do with 19 as protector of the Quran as claimed by Rashad Khalifah.

There are many verses in the Quran that supports human can also be compassionate and merciful but God is the Most Compassionate and the Most Merciful.

Rashad Khalifah claimed the Surah 9:128 is the source of Muslims glorifying Muhammad as he has the attribute of God being merciful. However the character of Muhammad being merciful is by nature in men and this is a token from God as an honor to him or whom God pleases. The following verses in the Quran described and confirm this character is in human whether it is being utilized or not is a different matter:

And among His Signs is this that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that ye may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are Signs for those who reflect.
(Surah 30:21)

Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, but merciful among each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. (Surah 48:29)

And this mercy in men can be translated into action and some examples are shown in the following verses of the Quran of merciful actions:

It was by some mercy of God that thou were gentle to them; had thou been harsh and hard of heart, they would have scattered from about thee. So pardon them, and pray forgiveness for them, and take counsel with them in the affair; and when thou art resolved, put thy trust in God; surely God loves those who put their trust. (Surah 3:159)

“In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful” And what will explain to thee the path that is steep? It is freeing the bondman; or by the giving of food in a day of privation. (Surah 90:13-14).

The claim that Rashad Khalifah is the messenger of God can be contested as the Quran is not the Book inspired to him but to the Prophet Muhammad and God confirmed there is no crookedness since.

In the Quran it is stated that there are messengers of whom some will be known and some will not be known and those that we know are mentioned by God by name.  Among all the messengers of God Muhammad is the last known messenger and his name is mentioned by God in the Quran and after him there is no more name of messenger mentioned:

Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things. (Surah 33:40)
.
Of some messengers We have already told thee the story; of others We have not; and to Moses Allah spoke direct; (Surah 4:164)

Rashad Khalifah cannot be a messenger of God as he contradicted God confirmation that the Quran is free from crookedness while he claimed the Surah 9:128-129 is falsehood and being injected by the Devil. The following verses thwart his controversies:

Praise be to Allah, Who hath sent to His Servant the Book, and hath allowed therein no Crookedness. (Surah 18:1)

We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption). (Surah 15:9)

No falsehood can approach it from before or behind it: It is sent down by One Full of Wisdom, Worthy of all Praise. (Surah 41:42)

(It is) a Qur'an in Arabic, without any crookedness (therein): in order that they may guard against Evil. (Surah 39:28)

There is only one Quran in this world today and it in the Quran in Arabic and memorized by many Muslim agents of God all over the world. The other is the one plagiarized by Rashad Khalifah and he manipulated it by dumping two holy verses at Surah 9:128&129 and he by his own authority attached on the top of his Surah 9 The Ultimatum with his own words “No Basmallah”. The original Quran at the top of this chapter 9 is blank.

The supporters of Rashad claimed that rejecting the two verses have no impact on the base law of the Quran and they can discard it presence in the Quran.

According to them Dr Rashad claimed two verses are false in the entire Quran based on 19. Those 2 verses are nothing to do with any base laws of the Quran. Quranic laws will never be slightly modified if anybody does not follow those two verses.  To get paradise you need to have 3 things only (minimum). 1. Believe in Allah, 2. Believe in last day and 3. Lead a righteous life. What is righteousness is also clearly mentioned in the holy Quran. So if anybody doesn’t follow those two verses, those 3 cardinal points will not affect in his/her life in any way.

Unfortunately by dumping the two holy verses from the Quran, it does affect a Muslim life as there is in Surah 9:128 to believe a man is also compassionate and merciful and in Surah 9:129 there is a command to say: "Allah suffice me: there is no god but He: On Him is my trust, He is the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme!"

So those who follow Rashad Khalifah are not only disobeying these command to believe man is merciful and also to declare Allah is sufficient as stated in the above verses but they are saying the most improper that God did not protect His Quran as He allows the Devil to insert falsehood into the Quran despite God’s Words stated 1400 years ago saying that:

No evil ones have brought down this (Revelation): It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it). Indeed they have been removed far from even (a chance of) hearing it. (Surah 26:210-212)
